up games (Rain Outs, etc.) will be made up on weekends this season,
to free up more fields for other participants.

2008 Evaluation Process: Our goal
is to insure a fair draft and equal strength teams.
|
Players not attending evaluations will be assigned
to teams at random in alphabetical order. Sorry, No exceptions.
|
Players will not be allowed to participate in the
coaches draft process.
|
The Head Coach and Assistant Coaches players will
be evaluated as part of the draft for the 4th grade level and above.
|
Players attending a Zimmerman or Rogers School, must
register with that Association. Students attending Private
schools register here.
|
Late registrations, after the player evaluations,
must be approved by the House Director before being placed on
a team
|
Coaches at the draft without an Assistant Coach
selected, will draft first until team size and strength are equal.
|
Special requests to play on certain teams, with certain
players, is generally discouraged and must be approved by the League
Commissioner at Association level and above.
|
Only one Head Coach and one Assistant Coach at
ages 10 and above.
|
All Head Coaches must complete a Criminal Background Check.

Note: If you feel strongly that
your player is ready to move up to the next level,
please contact your League Commissioner
Minors: Kindergarten and First Grade: For Kindergarten
and First grades, ages 5 thru 7. This is a coach pitch league.
Minor’s is a non-competitive league focusing on baseball fundamentals.
There are no player evaluations and the league commissioner randomly selects
teams. Games are 3 innings long and are tentatively set for Monday nights.
A safety baseball is used. Minors Jamboree Weekend is June 7th and
June 8th 2008.
Association: Second and Third Grade:
This league is set up primarily for 8 & 9 year olds.
The season will consist of games using regular baseballs where the players
will pitch to each other, and games where pitching machines will be used.
If you feel that your 8-year-old player may not be ready for this league,
a request can be made to move the player to the Minors league.
The Association and Minors commissioners will handle these requests. This
level introduces competitive play as players begin to pitch to each other,
with scores and standings kept. Teams are drafted after a player evaluation
on Saturday, April 21st. Games are 6 innings and are tentatively set for
Wednesday and/or Thursday nights. There is a mid season jamboree
June 7th and June 8th 2008 and end of season tournament. Team hat
and jerseys are supplied.
4th Grade House. This league is set up primarily
for age 10. Teams from all communities will play a regular season schedule
with playoffs at the end of the year. . Participation trophys
are no longer given out at this age level and above. There are trophys
awarded at the end of year tournament. Team hat and jerseys are supplied.
There is no mid season Jamboree.
5th & 6th Grade House: Teams from all communities
will play a regular season schedule with playoffs at the end of the year.
The 2008 5th & 6th Grade House Teams Championship Playoff weekend
is in July. Team hat and jerseys are supplied.
7th & 8th and 9th Grade House:
